
The latest adaptation of a Stephenie Meyer novel, The Host has just had its first poster released. Yes, say hello to the one and only adaptation of her books that doesn’t have a sparkly vampire in it.
And it’s looking pretty cool. Picturing the ominous close-up of Irish born actress, Saoirse Ronan (The Ugly Bones), the poster indicates its genre, sci-fi with the tag-line “you will be one of us”.
At least it seems different to Meyer’s last fantasy offering, the popular book series turned movie franchise, Twilight.
Directed by Andrew Niccol, The Host co-stars Diane Kruger, Jake Abel and Max Irons.
